Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Stocking Clerk to help keep shelves stocked and ready for customers. You will stock grocery products, move items from pallets to shelves, and maintain a clean, organized store environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, friendly service, and reliable overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead. You’ll learn to use basic technology, follow procedures, stay productive in a fast-paced setting, and support leadership to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Organized and efficient in work processes.
• Team player with collaborative focus.
• Able to handle physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to shelves quickly and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back areas.
• Work with leadership to complete areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
