Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and customers have a positive shopping experience. This entry level role emphasizes product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude in a fast paced store environment.

You will stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, and collaborate with leadership to keep areas on schedule while maintaining a clean, organized store and providing great customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and use basic technology.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks.
• Team oriented with good communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in backroom areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers as needed.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
