Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked with a range of food and grocery items and to deliver friendly customer service.

You will move products from pallets to shelves, backstock, and keep back-room areas organized, while working closely with leadership to meet daily goals. This role requires is able to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a clean store environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using basic technology and following store procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of products.
• Move products from pallets to shelves efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back areas.
• Work with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers.
