Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to support daily retail operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will stock shelves, assist customers, and help maintain clean, organized aisles and back areas.

You will work with team members to ensure products are correctly displayed, shelves are replenished, and back-room tasks are completed efficiently, contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role requiring a positive attitude and able to collaborate with a team.
• Ability to learn store systems and basic technology.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
