Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry‑level Stocking Clerk in Grand Rapids, MI to deliver exceptional customer service and keep shelves stocked for a great shopping experience.

You will stock shelves, move products to correct locations, and maintain store cleanliness while providing friendly customer interactions, including overnight shifts to prepare for the day. Meijer values growth and supports development and education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Organized and efficient in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Team-oriented with ability to support shared goals.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing long shifts.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Willing to work overnight shifts to prepare store for the day.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to shelf locations accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back rooms.
• Work with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly and respectful customer interactions as needed.
