Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking a Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked and deliver friendly, efficient service.

You will move products from pallets to shelves, tidy backrooms, and work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the next day. No prior retail experience is required, but a willingness to learn and teamwork are essential. Weekly pay and employee discounts are part of our Meijer Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic technology and store systems.
• Follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long shifts.
• Team-oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to shelves accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard in backrooms.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
