Job summary

Meijer is seeking an Overnight Stocking Associate to ensure shelves are stocked and ready for customers. You will move products from pallets to accurate shelf locations, manage back-room disposal, and coordinate with leadership to meet deadlines.

The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work a steady overnight schedule in a fast-paced store environment, with weekly pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and use basic technology.
• Organized, efficient work approach.
• Reliable, team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
