Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for stocking grocery products, unloading trucks, and ensuring that the store aisles are kept neat and clean. Meets customer needs by providing well-stocked and accurately priced merchandise to promote sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times.
2. Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers upon fulfilling their requests.
3. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
4. Perform merchandising functions, including stocking, pricing, signing, and inventory checks.
5. Return excess merchandise to the back room as per guidelines.
6. Unload merchandise from trucks.
7. Stock products throughout the store following company procedures.
8. Follow sanitation standards for floors, shelves, and back areas.
9. Process customer orders as needed.
10. Retrieve and return shopping carts.
11. Control shrink by adhering to policies and procedures.
12. Perform other duties as assigned and comply with company policies.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Requirements

• Bending: Constant 5-8 hours
• Exposure to cold environment: Occasional 1-3 hours
• Grasping, finger movement, and dexterity: Constant 5-8 hours
• Lifting: Constant up to 100 lbs and 50 lbs
• Pivoting: Constant 5-8 hours
• Pushing/pulling: Constant up to 75 lbs and occasional up to 2400 lbs
• Squatting/kneeling, standing, walking: Constant 5-8 hours
