Responsibilities

As an Overnight Stocker at Joe V's Smart Shop, you will ensure that all merchandising areas are well maintained and stocked by each morning. You will perform tasks with a sense of ownership and teamwork, combining excellent customer service skills with our commitment to 'lowest price, highest quality product.'

We are looking for candidates who:

• Can work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Are dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Can work overnight shifts

Stocking Tasks:

• Load, unload, and move heavy, bulky products to support in-stock conditions
• Stock and rotate items on store shelves, including grocery, frozen, Wall of Value, drugstore, and general merchandise
• Build, maintain, and take down store displays as directed
• Check shipments for out-of-date and damaged products, reporting issues to management

Sanitation Tasks:

• Organize, clean, and prepare areas for incoming trucks
• Keep shelves and fixtures clean and safe
• Follow safety and sanitation SOPs

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent service by ensuring the store is stocked, clean, and ready for customers

Qualifications:

• Minimum age 18
• Experience in stocking or retail preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and use material handling equipment safely
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle objects over 85 lbs with assistance if necessary

Physical demands include reaching, standing, walking, bending, and working in various temperature conditions. Safety is a priority, and Partners are responsible for lifting within safe limits and requesting assistance when needed.
