Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. is hiring an Overnight Stocker to keep shelves full, organized, and ready for customers each morning. You will unload trucks, stock, rotate products, and monitor stock levels while supporting a fast-paced overnight team.

This hourly, entry-level role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and offers on-the-job training. Ability to lift, stand for long periods, and work in cool areas is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to six months of related experience preferred.
• No prior experience required; Hy-Vee will train you.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find items.
• Assist customers with reaching items and carrying heavy purchases.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate products for freshness.
• Monitor mis-picks, stock levels, and deliveries; report issues.
• Organize stock for efficiency and restock damaged items.
• Tag shelves and coordinate backroom overstock and understock drawers.
• Report new or different items to the scanning coordinator for system input.
• Work with teammates to ensure smooth overnight operations.
• Maintain Hy-Vee dress code, hygiene standards, and store policies.
