Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are fully stocked and stocked accurately, while delivering friendly, knowledgeable customer service. The role includes stocking groceries, moving products to shelves, backroom sorting, and collaborating with leadership to keep operations on schedule.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Organized, efficient work style.
• Able to perform physical tasks up to 50 lbs.
• Team oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to shelf locations efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
