Overnight Stocker

Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Night Manager.

Status: Non-exempt position.

Knowledge

Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino’s Learning Plan.

Skills

Basic skills required for the position include:

• Implementing Cosentino’s Customer Service Standards.
• Unloading, sorting, and stocking shipments efficiently without damaging merchandise.
• Maintaining neatness in back room and cooler/freezer areas.
• Stocking shelves using proper methods and matching item UPCs to shelf tags.
• Supporting inventory processes with accurate counts and records.
• Monitoring products for damage or expiration and following proper procedures.
• Operating, cleaning, and maintaining equipment safely.
• Meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
• Ensuring proper rotation of products and cleanliness of work areas.
• Adhering to health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Exhibiting strong verbal and interpersonal skills for customer and peer interactions.
• Demonstrating basic math and reading skills.

Physical Abilities

Employees should be able to perform physical tasks such as reaching, twisting, lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing carts, standing, walking, bending, squatting, and working in cold environments.
