Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Stocker in the Grocery department to keep shelves full, organized, and ready for customers each morning. You’ll unload trucks, rotate product, tag shelves, and maintain the backroom to support a smooth overnight operation.

No prior experience is required; we offer training. You’ll work with a team, follow written and verbal instructions, use basic math, and help customers locate products while upholding Hy-Vee’s dress code and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience needed; training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work overnight.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and helping them find what they need.
• Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, carrying heavy purchases, and relaying feedback to the team.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate products for freshness, and organize the backroom.
• Monitor mis-picked items, product outs, and wrong deliveries, reporting issues to the team.
• Tag shelves with overstock and report new items for system input.
• Work with teammates to ensure a smooth, efficient overnight operation.

The role involves working with and around heavy store equipment.
