Description

Position Summary: Receive, store, and issue sales floor merchandise. Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with merchandise and arrange merchandise displays to attract customers. May periodically take physical count of stock.

Essential Functions

• Answer customers' questions about merchandise and advise on merchandise selection.
• Observe scheduled shift hours as assigned by store management.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and prompt service to all customers.
• Stock shelves, coolers, displays, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise, maintaining them full and fronted at all times.
• Receive, open, unpack, and issue sales floor merchandise.
• Clean and maintain display cases, shelves, equipment, and aisles.
• Compare merchandise invoices to received items to ensure shipment accuracy.
• Record all shift hours worked; verify and sign timesheets.
• Discuss stock-related issues with store management.
• Perform specific tasks as assigned by store management.

Experience

Other Requirements

• Access to a phone at all times.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to work in a cooler at 34-20°F for periods of time.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, hearing, and understanding English.

Physical Demands

Includes standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching, climbing, crawling, squatting, bending, and pushing/pulling with specified weight requirements and frequencies.
