Job Summary

Our Overnight Stock Clerks work behind the scenes to keep our store shelves fully stocked and organized for the next day’s guests. You will work overnight shifts when the store is closed to customers, allowing you to concentrate on your tasks in a calm, structured setting. Job Description

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
• Experience Desired: Prior experience in Grocery or related industry
• Education Desired: No High School diploma required
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, block, and maintain product on shelves, with knowledge of code dating.
• Provide exemplary customer service and greet customers in a friendly manner.
• Follow procedures to meet out-of-stock percentage goals.
• Assist with inventory management, AR, and ordering functions.
• Monitor expiration dates of products.
• Maintain safety as the top priority for team members, guests, and products.
• Handle products and equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Set up displays on the sales floor.
• Unload and store food items in prep areas and coolers.
• Unload product from trucks and break down pallets.
• Load flats with proper product for the floor and hand stack.
• Assist in backroom efficiency by unloading deliveries.
• Receive and process vendor products.
• Ensure vendors deliver to the receiving area during scheduled times and manage vendor presence in the backroom.
• Prepare products for stocking, including case opening, loading, and pricing.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, tables, utensils, and floors.
• Keep the backroom organized and clutter-free.
• Create cardboard bales with a bailer and paper crusher.
• Show willingness to learn, understand, and communicate, including tasting and experiencing new products.
• Familiarize yourself with store products to answer questions and suggest items to customers.
• Promote an environment of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
