Job summary

Meijer is a family company that serves people and communities. This Stocking Clerk role keeps our shelves ready for a great day by stocking shelves, moving products from pallets to correct locations, and maintaining a tidy back room.

You’ll work overnight to prepare the store for the day ahead and collaborate with leadership to finish areas on time. Meijer offers weekly pay, education assistance, and other rewards as part of our commitment to growth and community.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and use basic technology.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; provide friendly interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.

What You'll Do
