Hy-Vee is seeking an Overnight Stock Manager to lead the overnight crew, manage orders, supervise truck unloads, and ensure the store is ready for a great morning. This role emphasizes leadership in a fast-paced overnight environment and requires the ability to train staff and maintain store standards.

You will oversee inventory, coordinate with departments, and ensure equipment operates smoothly while upholding Hy-Vee policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three to five years of similar or related work experience preferred.
• Overnight retail leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set and uphold department standards for customer service, cleanliness, sanitation, team relations, and profitability.
• Supervise the overnight stock crew, assistant managers, departments, and custodian crews, assigning duties and checking in.
• Oversee ordering from the warehouse including pre-orders for grocery, non-foods, and supplies, coordinating with assistant managers.
• Coordinate inventory setup, understock/backstock management, and order review.
• Unload trucks, break down pallets, sort items by aisle, and check in vendor deliveries piece by piece.
• Train new employees on stocking, ordering, checkout, and customer service; train supervisors on register handling and department services.
• Monitor crew productivity and conduct individual reviews with team members.
• Assist with customer service including checkout, sacking, and day-end reports.
