Job summary

MTF Biologics in Jessup is looking for an individual to handle processing supplies, ensuring compliance while working in a sterile environment. Responsibilities include decontaminating supplies and executing aseptic transfers.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year experience in Tissue Banking or related fields, with good hand-eye coordination. This full-time position offers a range of benefits including 4 weeks PTO, extensive medical insurance, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Tissue Banking, Central Sterile Supply, or as a Surgical Technician.
• Production experience in a sterile environment within pharmaceutical or medical fields.
• Experience in a role requiring hand-eye coordination and use of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Handle, decontaminate, and sterilize all processing supplies.
• Perform inspections of tooling and medical device kits for compliance.
• Maintain safe handling of potential non‑compliant organisms.
• Execute aseptic transfer of donors, materials, and supplies.
• Coordinate removal and storage of finished tooling for decontamination.
• Sanitize non‑sterile areas, maintain production workflow.
• Assist inventory management for sterile and non‑sterile garments.
• Support Lean initiatives by coordinating material flow.
• Document daily production activities related to sterilization.
• Help maintain the bio‑waste room and remove waste.
• Transport instrumentation to procurement suites.
• Assist on special projects and additional duties as assigned.
