Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, inspecting it prior to use and following safety standards.
• Load and unload merchandise from trucks, inspecting and preparing trucks for unloading, and accurately receiving deliveries.
• Handle pallets, wrapping, strapping, stacking, labeling, and ensuring pallets are safe for reserving.
• Transport merchandise and pallets throughout the club, utilizing pallet jacks as needed.
• Stock, rotate, and store merchandise, handling damaged goods per policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment, perform general maintenance, and assist with club opening and closing procedures.
• Greet Members, provide courteous service, and assist in locating merchandise.
• Adhere to all club policies and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Complete required training and certification.

Environmental Conditions

• Mostly standing and moving on hard surfaces, including bending, climbing, and reaching.
• Lifting objects up to 30 pounds frequently; heavier objects with assistance.
• Work environment includes machinery and loud equipment, with occasional temperature extremes and exposure to cleaning agents.

The starting pay range for this position is from $14.75, depending on factors like location, education, experience, and qualifications.
