Work Shift/Schedule: Wed‑Sat 6.30pm‑5:00am (4 ten‑hour shifts/week) or Thurs‑Sun 6:30pm‑5:00am (4 ten‑hour shifts/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive customer profiles including current and past medical history, clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medications (including over‑the‑counter and home remedies).
• Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration. Make recommendations for therapy changes to the prescriber as appropriate.
• Operate and troubleshoot Pharmacy Automation Systems; utilize, monitor, and troubleshoot automated dispensing and fulfillment systems to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely preparation of prescription orders; collaborate with pharmacy technicians and engineering teams to resolve automation issues, optimize workflows, and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Accurately dispense controlled substances in accordance with DEA regulations and state‑specific laws; maintain thorough, timely, and auditable records of all controlled substance transactions, including inventory management, reconciliation, and reporting requirements.
• Provide clinical support: answer clinical questions and provide guidance; collaborate with healthcare team members; document all healthcare team communications; investigate and resolve medication errors.
• Additional responsibilities: implement policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal laws; maintain required regulatory documentation; participate in continuous improvement initiatives; support pharmacy operations across departments as needed; physical requirements may include ability to perform warehouse work and lift at least 20 pounds.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy License in state of employment (additional licenses may be required).
• Proficiency with basic computer functions and pharmacy systems.
• Exemplary interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations.
• Ability to manage high call volume while maintaining quality customer service.
