Sleep Rx in Smithtown, NY is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist or Respiratory Therapist with SDS certification for a full-time night shift. The role requires either an RPSGT or an RRT with SDS and a current state license to provide sleep services and diagnostic testing.

Overnight shift is 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM with competitive pay between $40 and $60 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health and dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or higher required; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required.
• Must hold a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification or be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with SDS certification.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and state licensure in the U.S. are required.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate polysomnographic tests and collect accurate data.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment; apply electrodes and masks per protocol.
• Record patient activity, monitor study quality, and document events.
• Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review.
• Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols.
