Responsibilities

• Develops, recommends and communicates safety strategy to meet goals and safe practices.
• Plans and coordinates safety training for managers, supervisors and employees.
• Oversees investigations of accidents and incidents and initiates corrective action.
• Reviews accidents and incidents and reports to upper management.
• Collaborates with project managers and division managers on safe worksites.
• Supports safety components of employee incentive programs.
• Conducts on-site safety assessments.
• Monitors safety processes and corrective actions.
• Provides projects with safety information, signs and posters.
• Inspects safety equipment periodically.
• Conducts equipment training.
• Keeps personnel informed on new or changed guidelines or laws.
