Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for an Overnight Shift Supervisor at UVA Health System in Charlottesville, VA. The role directs associates on a shift, ensures tasks meet policy and quality standards, and supports a culture of care and excellence. The position includes rotating weekends and overnight hours with comprehensive benefits.

Prior supervisory experience is preferred. Training staff, scheduling, and performance evaluation are key duties, with opportunities to grow

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules for the team.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets quality, productivity and safety expectations.
• Serve as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Location: UVA Health System - 1215 Lee Street, Charlottesville, VA 22908. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; Days and hours may vary. Overnight shifts. Rotating weekends required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Pay Range: $18.50per hour to$18.75per hour.

Job Summary

• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
