Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets is seeking an Overnight Grocery Coordinator in Liverpool, NY to work behind the scenes and support daytime operations with a nightly team. You will help keep key items in stock, display products creatively, and ensure quality and freshness across the department.

The role requires customer service experience and offers an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues during evening and overnight shifts to meet deadlines and maintain store standards.

Responsibilities

• Possess an understanding of the products offered in the department
• Maintain the overall appearance of the department, product, sustaining product levels throughout the day, properly shrinking outdated product, checking expiration dates, ensuring shelves and displays are displayed creatively
• Understand how products look/taste at peak of perfection, ensure use core recipes and techniques to provide a consistent and qualityoutcome
• Assist in ordering and inventory processes, utilizing ordering guides to help control inventory and shrink
• Assist in coordinating the activities of the team, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently, and department runs smoothly
