Responsibilities

• Maintain 24-hour coverage for the Cooling/Warming Center.
• Monitor safety and order of clients.
• Conduct intake, assign beds, and distribute supplies.
• Screen admissions for weapons and confiscate as needed.
• Observe behavior and address disturbances; coordinate with emergency services.
• Document daily records and client rosters accurately.
• Assist with cleaning, laundry, and meals; ensure night settling.
• Provide information on Salvation Army services to clients.
