Job summary

The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce seeks an Overnight Chaperone for a part-time, seasonal position running November 1 through April 30, 2027. Shifts are from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. with a sleeping position after 11:00 p.m. as needed to support shelter operations.

The role provides a safe, welcoming presence for shelter guests, assists with dinner and evening routines, enforces rules, and helps maintain a calm environment so guests can rest safely overnight.

Responsibilities
