Job summary

Archway in Arlington, TX is seeking an Overnight Client Advocate (Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) to join our shelter team and support survivors in reclaiming safety and stability.

You will be a steady, compassionate presence, handling crisis moments and helping create a healing environment around the clock. The role emphasizes calm leadership, independent decision-making, and a commitment to serving survivors with dignity.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a residential facility, shelter, or similar environment is required.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living needs.
• Conduct intake assessments and resident orientations.
• Maintain accurate, timely client documentation.
• Prepare rooms for new residents.
• Conduct regular safety checks throughout the facility.
• Provide general shelter coverage with confidence and minimal supervision.
