Anakeesta is seeking Overnight Armed Security Officers to join our team.

Armed Security Officers will patrol the interior and exterior of our facility. Our officers must have an armed security registration issued by Tennessee Private Protective Services. Additional certifications and training in security, safety, wildlife control, and emergency procedures are highly valued. You must be able to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including extreme conditions. Collaboration with team members to mitigate risks is essential. Security officers will provide guest relations and customer service while adhering to company standards and mission. Each infraction should be thoroughly investigated and documented. Our ideal candidate has military, law enforcement, or security experience.

Armed Security Officer Duties and Responsibilities

• Patrol the property for safety or security risks
• Prioritize calls for service, including medical and wildlife incidents
• Provide first aid and emergency assistance until professional help arrives
• Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas
• Respond to incidents, including injuries and wildlife issues
• Complete documentation and reports during shifts
• Coordinate with law enforcement as needed
• Participate in training sessions and drills for emergency preparedness
• Remain approachable and visible to guests to promote security
• Assist management and perform tasks outside of standard duties as needed

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old with no criminal history
• Armed Security registration from the State of Tennessee PPS with Dallas's Law classification or ability to obtain within 15 days of hire
• Personal owned handgun meeting state requirements, with at least 3 magazines and approved retention holster
• Experience in law enforcement, security, military, or EMS is strongly preferred
• Emergency Medical Responder or higher certification preferred
• Ability to pass a random drug and alcohol screening
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and compliance with vehicle policies
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods on various surfaces
• Availability to work mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays in outdoor conditions
• Strong observational, communication, guest relations, reporting, and computer skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations
• Skill in de-escalating upset guests and staff
