Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking an experienced Lead Security Officer to manage overnight security at a corporate headquarters and high-rise in Downtown Houston. The role oversees Security Officers, coordinates incident response, and ensures a safe environment for employees, visitors, and assets.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience in security, strong communication, and the ability to make sound decisions in a corporate setting. Monday–Friday overnight schedule with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years in Security, Law Enforcement, Military, or related field.
• Previous supervisory/lead experience in security.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience writing incident reports and investigations.
• Ability to pass background screenings and training requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and guidance to Security Officers on assigned shifts.
• Conduct shift briefings and communicate post assignments and updates.
• Monitor officer performance and ensure post order compliance.
• Assist with training, coaching, and development of security personnel.
• Oversee security operations for multi-story headquarters and high-rise environment.
• Coordinate with building management and emergency responders.
• Lead incident response and document security events.
• Maintain a professional security presence and deliver quality customer service.
