Job summary

Planned Companies is seeking a Private Security Guard for a Friday–Sunday midnight shift in Englewood, NJ. You will perform routine patrols, verify access, and monitor CCTV to maintain safety and security across residential and commercial properties.

Requirements include a NJ SORA license, a valid driver’s license, and at least 2 years of security experience. Training in first aid, BLS, and self-defense is preferred; strong reporting and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• SORA license and valid NJ driver’s license.
• 2+ years of experience as a Security Officer or Guard.
• Knowledge of local, regional, and state security laws/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Routine security and safety patrols of property and structures to establish a security presence.
• Verify and track access credentials for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries.
• Ensure exits, doors, and windows are secure and functioning.
• Monitor CCTV to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Respond to, investigate, and assess alarms and notifications.
• Provide security-related assistance to residents, guests and vendors as needed.
• Report suspicious activity and incidents to authorities.
• Submit daily surveillance and incident reports to management.
