Join to apply for the Overnight Security Guard role at FREEDOM POINTE AT THE VILLAGES, LLC.

This community is still under construction with an expected start date in May 2025. The role involves preparing to welcome residents, with a varied schedule during the first month for training across locations. Be one of the first employees and join an amazing team dedicated to resident care.

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe environment, verifying the presence of employees and third-party contractors, and responding to emergencies such as fire alarms and resident calls.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Making scheduled rounds inside and outside the buildings
• Responding to fire alarms and emergency calls
• Building rapport with residents, visitors, and staff
• Handling security needs as they arise
• Reporting incidents during shifts
• Maintaining community entrances and walkways
• Performing duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of security experience preferred
• Experience in senior living preferred

License and certification requirements:

• Valid driver's license according to vehicle size and state laws
• Good driving record
• Availability for emergencies
• Understanding of building systems
