This community is under construction with an expected start date of February 17th, 2025. The initial weeks will involve preparation to welcome residents, with a varied schedule and multiple training locations. This is a unique opportunity to be among the first team members caring for our residents.

We are recruiting a hospitality-focused Security Guard responsible for maintaining a safe environment for residents, visitors, staff, and protecting community property. Duties include verifying scheduled presence of employees and third-party contractors.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct scheduled rounds inside and outside to ensure security for residents and property.
• Respond to fire alarms and emergency calls.
• Build rapport with residents, families, visitors, and staff to meet security needs.
• Assist with special security situations involving community members.
• Document incidents during shifts for administrative review.
• Maintain safe passage at entrances; keep walkways clear of debris and snow.
• Prioritize tasks as directed by supervisor and perform assigned duties.
• Support a culture of engagement, revenue, and occupancy growth.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of security experience preferred.
• Experience in senior living is a plus.

License/Certification Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license per vehicle size and state laws.
• Good driving record per company policy.
• Willingness to respond to emergencies.
• Understanding of building systems and their interdependence.
