Job summary

FirstService Residential in Texas is seeking a Porter for the overnight shift from 9pm to 5am to maintain and clean common areas within the community. You will also serve as a security presence with exterior perimeter walks to ensure resident access is limited.

The role is part-time, non-exempt, offering benefits such as dental and vision plans, paid holidays, and a 401(k) with company match. Training and AEDT-related processes may apply.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years custodial/make ready experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, and window cleaning.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and ensures OSHA-compliant handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Ensures adherence to security procedures and safety precautions at all times.
• Moves dumpsters and compactors to exterior loading dock area for pickup and return.
• Participates in meetings and performs special projects as assigned.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
