Opal Foods in Neosho, MO is seeking a Night Sanitation Lead to guide the sanitation team at our School Egg Processing Plant. You will supervise cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities to USDA and Opal requirements, plan tasks, and ensure timely completion overnight from 10pm to 7am.

The role emphasizes leadership, attention to detail, and compliance with SQF standards, with responsibilities including record keeping, inventory of supplies, and training team members for safe procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak/read/write in English.
• Experience leading sanitation or production teams.
• Ability to work overnight and a 7-day schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation of processing interior, exterior, warehouse, and cooler areas.
• Assign tasks and supervise sanitation team to ensure cleanliness.
• Maintain records per Opal SQF standards.
• Manage inventory of sanitation supplies and coordinate with Processing Manager.
• Schedule sanitation crew and monitor work hours.
• Ensure cleaning procedures protect equipment and meet pre-operational inspections.
• Train team members on procedures and PPE usage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
