Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to safely verify, load (if needed), and deliver fresh food products such as sandwiches, milk, bread, and bakery items to convenience stores along an assigned route. The role requires working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and delivering exceptional service in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries of products to stores on your route.
2. Use GPS and written directions to navigate efficiently.
3. Operate an electronic tablet to record deliveries and check-ins.
4. Collect empty trays from stores during deliveries.
5. Participate in training and safety programs.
6. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain truck safety and cleanliness.
7. Work in warehouse temperatures of 38-70°F to load/unload and verify orders.
8. Provide professional customer service and operate a 24–28-foot straight truck safely.
9. Complete required paperwork including DOT logs.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
2. Minimum 3 years of route delivery experience with a box truck.
3. Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and push/pull up to 300 lbs.
4. Proficiency in English communication.
5. Comfortable working in various temperatures and outdoor conditions.
6. Able to perform physical tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, nighttime environment.
7. Clean driving record, pass DOT physical, drug test, background, and vehicle checks.
