Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Syracuse, NY is seeking an experienced Overnight RN Supervisor to lead nursing staff and supervise clinical operations during night hours. The RN will ensure high-quality patient care, direct ancillary personnel, and collaborate with a team of RNs to manage evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Requirements include NY state RN licensure; ACLS/CHPN preferred; fast-paced environment and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN licensure.
• ACLS and/or CHPN preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel, demonstrating professional judgment, using problem-solving techniques, and time-management principles.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills to develop a rapport with clients, their families, and health team members.
• Ensure quality of care for patients by communicating with certified nurse aides, guiding and educating them, exchanging information, and providing special considerations.
• Collaborate with a team of registered nurses to supervise clinical operations of evening, nights, and weekends.
• Provide leadership for the highest quality care and services to residents of the facility.

Job Summary:

As an Overnight (RN) Supervisor, you will provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, ensure quality of care for patients, and collaborate with a team of registered nurses to supervise clinical operations.
