Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Texas NeuroRehab Center in Austin, TX. This full-time position offers overnight shifts, 36 hours per week, and comprehensive benefits.

The RN will provide specialized care on a behavioral unit, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nursing assessment, diagnoses and interventions
• Knowledge of milieu management and patient safety
• Ability to accurately administer medications and monitor side-effects
• Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the Behavioral unit
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan care
• Document nursing assessments and interventions accurately
