Job summary

Summit BHC is seeking an RN for the overnight shift (7 pm–7 am) at Waypoint Recovery Center in Cameron, SC. The role requires supervising care provided by LPNs/CNAs and developing individualized care plans, with a focus on safety and coordination among the treatment team.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license and have 1+ year of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health. The shift includes weekend rotations and offers up to $45 hourly DOE.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• 1+ year nursing experience; clinical area preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan patient care, document medical records, and educate families.
• Coordinate care with LPNs, CNAs, and other staff on assigned unit.
• Administer medications and monitor responses under physician supervision.
• Transcribe orders accurately and ensure safe medication administration.
• Communicate changes to interdisciplinary team and provide thorough handoffs.
• Ensure documentation and patient safety on shift.
