Job summary

SummitStone Health Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Acute Behavioral Health team at the Longview Campus in Fort Collins, CO. You will deliver crisis-focused nursing care in a 24/7 setting, partnering with an interdisciplinary team to assess needs quickly and initiate treatment plans with clear communication.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Colorado (or Compact) in good standing.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and clean driving record.
• DORA license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• BLS Certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• 1 year of behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients and provide crisis interventions.
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic response.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for care planning.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a medication administration system.
• Document progress notes and required reporting data.
• Ensure safe transitions of care and regulatory compliance.
• Educate clients about medications and safe use.
