Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are fully stocked and customers have an exceptional shopping experience. This entry level role covers merchandise, customer service and simple store tasks, with overnight shifts to prep the store for the day ahead.

You will learn basic technology, follow established processes, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and work closely with leadership and teammates to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn basic technology and follow processes.
• Work calmly in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets to shelves accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash.
• Work with leadership to complete tasks on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
