United Security Inc. in Cranston, RI is seeking an Overnight Retail Security Officer to protect our client sites and maintain a safe environment. This full-time position pays $20.60 per hour and requires the ability to patrol, deter theft, and respond to incidents.

Retail Security Officer | Full-time | $20.60/hour

Schedule:

Security Officer Responsibilities and Duties:

• Guards property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.
• Patrols buildings and grounds to ensure doors are locked and secured.
• Preserves order and enforces security regulations.
• Watches for and reports conditions that could result in injury or loss due to fire hazards, leaking pipes, spills, faulty equipment, etc.
• Use of oral de-escalation methods to control disagreements.
• All other job duties as related or assigned by USI Management.

Security Officer Qualifications and Skills:

• Must have a clean driving record and active driver's license.
• Must be able to lift at least 15 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent sense of judgment.
• Can stay alert at all times.
• Candidates must also be able to successfully pass ALL pre-employment screenings.
