Qualifications

• Perform arithmetic calculations to make change and complete shift reports.
• Validate identification before selling tobacco/alcohol as required by regulations.
• Can lift up to 30 pounds and carry cases of milk and beverages.
• Remain calm and respond per policy during emergencies.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Work in varying temperature environments (coolers, outdoors, store).
• Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule and communicate with management about store operations.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepare a shift report at the end of the shift per guidelines.
• Greet customers with a smile and sincere greeting; promote specials.
• Provide the best customer experience and ensure excellent service at the site level.
• Maintain store safety and appearance and comply with safety regulations.
• Operate equipment safely and report workplace accidents or incidents.
• Support the Safety and Health program and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Complete new employee safety orientation procedures.
