Job summary

Survey Merchandiser is seeking independent contractors to work as Overnight Retailer Merchandisers for a 5-day project in Chicago, IL at $19/hr. This retail-focused role requires prior merchandising experience and the ability to install electronic shelf labels and document progress using our app.

Responsibilities include unboxing ESL kits, removing paper tags, installing new labels in assigned departments, disposing of waste, and palletizing excess materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising is required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Smartphone (iPhone/Android) with the Survey Merchandiser App.
• 18+, valid driver's license, reliable transportation.
• Business casual dress code: closed-toe shoes, long pants, plain shirt.

• Remove paper price tags from store shelves.
• Install new electronic shelf labels and related tags.
• Remove trash and dispose of it in the dumpster.

Job description

Survey Merchandiser is seeking independent contractors to work as Overnight Retailer Merchandisers for a 5-day project in Chicago, IL paying $19/hr. This is a retail-focused role requiring prior retail merchandising experience. You will support a large retail reset by replacing paper price tags with electronic shelf labels and documenting progress using our app.

Schedule & Hours

• Pay: $19 per hour
• Start Date: October 4th, 2026
• Start Time: 10:00 PM
• Shift Length: 8.5 hours (Unpaid Lunch Break)
• Arrival: Must arrive 15 minutes early

• Install new strips, electronic shelf labels, and associated tags in designated departments
• Remove trash from the store and dispose of it in the dumpster
• Palletize excess materials for pickup

Requirements (Must Have)

• Technology:Smartphone (iPhone or Android) with the Survey Merchandiser App
• Other:18+, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
• DressCode:Business casual: closed-toe shoes, long pants, plainshirtor polo.Not allowed: shorts, tank tops, graphic shirts, sandals, dirty clothing, or personal phone use on the sales floor
