Jacksons Food Stores, Inc. in Portland, OR is hiring an Overnight Cashier for late-night shifts. You’ll deliver fast, friendly checkout service, greet customers, and help keep the store clean and organized.

This part-time role offers a pay range of $17.50–$19.50 per hour, with overnight differential and benefits for eligible employees, including discounts, a 401(k) match, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability for a 24/7 operation (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude.
• Reliability, integrity, and a history of doing the right thing.
• A team player who will help wherever needed.
• Prior retail or foodservice cashiering experience is a plus.
• Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products.

Shift: part-time, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

*Overnight Shift Differential: To be eligible, you must work at least 4 hours between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
