Job summary

Jacksons Food Stores in Kuna, ID is seeking an Overnight Cashier to deliver friendly checkout service during late-night hours. You will greet customers, process transactions, maintain a clean store, stock shelves, and help create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

This full-time overnight role pays $16.50 per hour with a $1 shift differential, offers same-day pay, benefits, and a path for advancement. Availability for a 10:00pm–6:00am shift, Sunday to Wednesday, and compliance with age

• Flexible availability for a 24/7 operation including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Prior retail or cashiering experience is a plus.

• Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products (alcohol, tobacco).

• Apply discounts and promotions as applicable while following all company policies and laws related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, etc.).
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out.
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Assist with additional store duties as needed.

Shift

Overnight 10:00pm - 6:00am.

Sunday - Wednesday.

(Overnight shift differential eligibility requires a minimum of 4 hours between 10:00pm and 7:00am.)

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
