Job summary

Jacksons Food Stores, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Cashier to support late-night operations. You will greet customers, process transactions, maintain clean shelves, and help create a welcoming shopping experience during overnight hours.

This role offers a 10:00pm–7:00am shift, $16.50 per hour including a $1 shift differential, plus benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
• Apply discounts and promotions as applicable while following all company policies and laws related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco).
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out.
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Assist with additional store duties as needed.

(Overnight shift differential eligibility requires a minimum of 4 hours between 10:00pm and 7:00am.)

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
