Jacksons is seeking an Overnight Cashier to provide fast, friendly checkout service during late-night hours. You will greet customers, process transactions, and help maintain a clean, welcoming store environment. This role offers opportunities for growth within a 24/7 operation and includes benefits for full-time employees.

You should be reliable, have strong communication skills, and enjoy teamwork. Prior cashiering experience is a plus, and eligibility to sell regulated products is required.

Pay:

$16.50 an hour including $1.00 shift differential.

Shift:

10:00pm- 7:00am.

(Overnight shift differential eligibility requires a minimum of 4 hours between 10:00pm and 7:00am.)

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
• Apply discounts and promotions as applicable while following all company policies and laws related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, etc.).
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out.
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Assist with additional store duties as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
