Job summary

Jacksons in Bothell, WA is seeking an Overnight Cashier to support late-night operations. You will handle transactions, keep the store welcoming, and ensure accurate checkout while upholding store policies.

The role requires a part-time night shift (10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.) with opportunities for growth and benefits for full-time staff. Prior retail cashiering experience is a plus and the environment is team-oriented.

Shift: part-time 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

*Overnight Shift Differential: To be eligible, you must work at least 4 hours between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
• Apply discounts and promotions as applicable while following all company policies and laws related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, etc.).
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out.
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Assist with additional store duties as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Our stores require flexible availability for a 24/7 operation (including nights, weekends, and holidays).

• Reliability, integrity, and a history of doing the right thing.
• A team player with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
• Prior retail or foodservice cashiering experience is a plus.

• Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products (alcohol and tobacco).

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
