Job summary

Michaels in Bayonne, NJ is seeking a retail team member to deliver friendly customer service and help shoppers find products. You will handle the checkout, promote the Rewards program, and support omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, maintaining planograms, and ensuring well-merchandised, in-stock shelves. Beneficial experience in retail and willingness to work nights/weekends is noted.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store and locate products.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Support Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Maintain stock via truck unloading, shelving, and planograms.
• Ensure store recovery and in-stock conditions; follow SOPs and company policies.
