Job summary

Enmarket seeks friendly, customer-service oriented Sales Associates to help run store operations and deliver a first-class shopping experience. You will greet customers, suggest purchases, and maintain a clean, safe environment while supporting safety programs and company guidelines.

Applicants should be able to work a flexible schedule, engage with customers professionally, and handle shift reporting and basic arithmetic.

Qualifications

• Read, understand and write English at the 8th-grade level.
• Perform arithmetic calculations to make change and complete shift reports.
• Ability to validate identification prior to selling tobacco/alcohol as regulated.
• Lift up to 30 pounds and carry cases of milk/soft drinks, beers and juices.
• Work in varying temperature environments and be prepared for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Communicate with management on store operations to ensure smooth shifts.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner and deliver great service.
• Prepare a shift report at the end of the shift per guidelines.
• Provide best customer experience with greeting and upselling.
• Support safety and cleanliness, ensure store security, and report incidents.
• Operate equipment safely and support the company Safety and Health program.
